You must be at least 13 years old to register. If you are not, ask a parent or guardian to read the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) before accessing any of our websites. Teenagers below 18 should also consult a parent or guardian.
Then read our Terms and Conditions (Terms of Use) and our Privacy Policy as you indicate that you have read it, understands it and that you accept it. If you wish, you can also find out more about the Federal Trade Commission's Can Spam Legislation.

DATA FIELD DESCRIPTIONS
Display name: Nickname or Screen name. The ‘Display name’ will be used throughout the site whenever you post a comment or other information. This name will be public and other site users will get to know you by this name. It is recommended that you use your first name or the name used by your friends. Keep in mind that your old friends may be searching for you and that this is probably all that they may see, depending on your privacy settings.
E-mail: This should be your primary e-mail address. Your e-mail address can be kept private and it is recommended that you set it to ‘private’ or visible to ‘friends’ only in your account to avoid being spammed. It will be used to activate your site account or whenever you need to recover your site login details. Within your account, you can also elect to be notified of certain events like friendship invitations and more.
Username: This should be your first name, surname, organization name or a major interest. Your username may not be private; as it is used in the URL of your site account, for example [http:/
Password: This is your only real protection against people who may wish to access your site data. That is why a password should be at least 8 characters long, a combination of letters and numbers, capital letters and small letters, and it should not contain any personal information or dictionary words. Don’t ever give your password to anybody else and don’t use the same password for more than one website. If you experience difficulties in remembering all your Internet passwords, you may wish to consider using a tool or ‘safety box’ for your online passwords.
Minimum Age: As stated above, you must confirm that you are older than 13 to comply with COPPA legislation.
CAPTHA: You need to retype the image displayed to confirm that you are not a bot or computer trying to register a new account. Some clever automated software can even recognise the image and retype the characters automatically; therefore we reserve the option to manually approve new accounts after you activated your account via e-mail activation link. In such an event, you may not be able to access the new account for up to 72 hours to allow manual approval.

ACCOUNT ACTIVATION PROCEDURE
After registering an account, you will not be able to Login until you activated your account. This is to ensure that people do not register anybody else without their permission. Check the e-mail address supplied during registration for an e-mail from us with an activation link. The e-mail should have the following in the subject header: ‘[Username] please confirm your email address!’ This e-mail should reach you within a few minutes. If it does not, check your spam filters at your mail server as well as on your computer and set it to allow our site e-mails. The activation link will resemble something like [http:/
Copy the activation link to your web browser URL or address bar and enter to visit this site for automatic activation. You may then receive a second e-mail to confirm that your account is activated and with the URL where you can Login.
If we decided to set registrations to manual approval, you will get a message that your account is awaiting approval; otherwise you will be able to login. You will also be notified when your account have been approved or disapproved if manual approval is activated. Don’t worry about this procedure, it is actually very straight forward and easy, but necessary for your safety and protection. We also have additional options to increase security further, but it is unlikely that we will resort to extreme measures and therefore we won’t even mention it here.
